As you can see from this short film the rally was well organised and supported by local scooterist, and clubs in the midlands area, from Burton-on-Trent ‘The Brewers’ and from Leicestershire ‘The Leicester Reynards’ to mention just a few that comes to mind.
This short film give a real good insight into how well these events in the sixties were supported, and what it was like to attend a scooter rally in that era, these films are unique record unlike today when everyone has a digital camera to hand that wasn't the case at the time when these events took place.
Due to lack of any photographs which I have of this event, the photographs on this page are from the 1964 Isle of Man Gymkhana, correct era wrong place.
